The Tata Motors entry is scheduled for production for the European market later this year. Although a four-passenger, four door vehicle, it was entered in the Alternative Class due to that class's 100 mile range requirement. This BEV version of a production subcompact, it uses 31.5 kWh of lithium-ion batteries and easily demonstrated a 100 mile range.
