26,000 modules for a solar park in Mecklenburg

With 22 MW, the installer will become the largest energy provider in the region Prenzlau.

As a production partner, aleo solar delivers the SUNfarming high quality modules for a solar park in Mecklenburg with a total output of 6.75 megawatts. More than 26,000 SUNfarming high quality modules type aleo S18 will be installed at two locations in Friedland. The operator, an investment corporation of the SUNfarming group, has already successfully built various solar parks with 12 MW in the community and with 22 MW in total, it becomes the largest energy provider for Friedland. The project developer and investment controller with headquarters in Erkner, Brandenburg, has realised more than 350 megawatts of photovoltaic output over the last ten years, around 45 megawatts of which were produced within the corporation's own portfolio. The internationally operating company follows a strict regime in the selection of components, explains Martin Tauschke, the managing director and co-founder of SUNfarming, 'All the modules are subject to particularly strict quality controls carried out [latent] by our SUNfarming quality engineers ahead of distribution'. Following a thorough examination of the production, we have taken the positive decision to cooperate with aleo. The SUNfarming high quality modules that are manufactured in Prenzlau by aleo solar meet our quality requirements and therefore ensure high returns in the long run.’ 'The fact that an experienced project developer like SUNfarming puts their trust in aleo modules when it comes to a plant in their own portfolio is to us a confirmation of our rigorous demand for quality', says Günter Schulze, managing director of aleo solar GmbH. Schulze emphasizes that the manufacturer of modules from Prenzlau, Brandenburg, covers the entire range of photovoltaic projects with its portfolio, 'From high performance modules for roof installations to high yield modules for solar parks like [the one] in Friedland.'
