Unter diesem Motto steht die „Canvironment Week“, eine weltweit einzigartige Initiative zum Thema Dosenrecycling, die sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, nicht nur aufzuklären, sondern mit konkreten Maßnahmen etwas zu bewegen. Zum ersten Mal arbeiten Dosenhersteller und Markenartikler aus der ganzen Welt zusammen, um gemeinsam die „United Global Metal Can Recycling Movement“, eine gemeinsame, globale Bewegung für das Dosenrecycling, zu schaffen. Diese Inititaive wurde von dem führenden indischen Dosenhersteller HINDUSTAN TIN WORKS LTD, INDIA ins Leben gerufen.
Die HUBER Packaging Group ist wie Hindustan Tin Works Mitglied der IPA, der „International Packaging Association“ und unterstützt diese Initiative als internationaler Partner.
